I brought this book with me on my trip to Spain! I recall seeing the movie when it came out almost 20 years ago, but I don’t remember the plot and I never read the book. I heard a lot of people love the triology. I hope I do too.

I went on a day trip to Segovia and I’m so glad I did. Segovia is so beautiful! The aqueduct of Segovia is well preserved and still standing tall after almost 2000 years. I can’t wait to learn more about its history in this book I bought at a local bookstore.

I'm going to find out on or around 11/2/2025 whether or not I'm going to be homeless. I have myself and my three cats plus the ashes of my mother, brother, and sister. I don't have anywhere to go as of right now and winter is QUITE LITERALLY not even two months away. I've already applied for Disability and the soonest the Social Security Office could get me in for updating my Disability as well as Survivor Benefits is December 1st, 2025. I'm slowly, but surely, going through all of my stuff to either sell, donate, or trash. I'm also going to try and find a place to work at (for now) that won't kill my back, but that's slim to none. I've been having an emotional meltdown just about every single day for the past week and I'm getting more and more paranoid each and every single day. I have no family to move in with. In fact, my uncle who lives in Mississippi said that I could move in with them down there but I'd have to get rid of my three cats because he doesn't want to get rid of his three dogs. That is an automatic no because I'm working on getting them them ESA Certified and if my children aren't welcome then neither am I. I also can't check myself into a mental hospital because I currently don't have anyone to take care of my three cats since my trust circle is almost non-existent. I'm sick and tired of having several emotional meltdown every single freaking day, my rights and my freedom revoked and not getting a say-so in anything, not being good enough for literally everybody often leading to me feeling useless, being absolutely alone with no immediate family left and nowhere to go, and sacrificing LITERALLY EVERYTHING to please everybody else only for them to not have to sacrifice anything. I just need to find a place to move to. I can't stand being in a constant state of paranoia. And NOBODY deserves to live like this. The past couple of months ... no ... the past couple of years have been complete and utter hell.

Saw this flyer at a shop yesterday;decided to reach out to my HOA to organize a food drive in my neighborhood.

Private effort is completely inadequate to replace the $Billions of food aid being cut, but doing *something* matters...plus community building is the real solution & basis for all change.

Piranesi 🤍💙 I adore this book. Piranesi’s kind of childlike wonder at the world really struck me. The story is strange and beautiful and haunting all at once. There are stories that stay with me forever, and Piranesi is one of them.
