Y’all, I think I just ran the greatest D&D session ever.

It was the last D&D Club meeting of the year for my middle schoolers, and some of the students asked if I’d be their DM today, so I did.

They left campus in a group fist pumping, chanting and yelling things like, “We killed the dragon!”

1 year into working out consistently after years of neglecting fitness.

I work out with max weight on most machines, & I’m nearing max weight on a few others.

I had a setback with a torn rotator cuff, & I’m currently nursing a wrist injury, but I feel a lot stronger & better than I did a year ago.

New haiku drop:

“Motes twirl in moonlight
A cosmos dancing for me
Indifferent still”

I’m currently reading Japanese Death Poems. The introduction inspired me to write a haiku.

“A blade of sunlight
Cuts across a sleeping cat
Content with defeat”
