The video's circulation is intended 1) to signal that "women who don't know their place" can be murdered at will with no concern for consequences.

I was puzzled for a moment about why DHS would release the phone footage from the murderer's point of view, since it clearly shows that the murderer was in no danger from the victim.

Renee Good committed gender insubordination: she didn't cower & grovel to male authority. Many women are killed for the very same reason all over the world. We just call it by the euphemism "domestic violence" instead of what it is: a campaign of political terrorism in which any man can participate.
When Renee Good said "I'm not mad at you" what the ICE goon heard was "I'm not scared of you."
That's what enraged him. The populace wasn't fully terrorized and cowed into submission yet, so he acted to make that happen.

Honestly if Disney feels like the material of late night comics are not “on brand” for the company (as some defenders of Iger have claimed), then maybe it should stick to amusement parks and get out of broadcast TV. I say this as a Disney shareholder. (And good for Eisner for speaking up!)

If listing cases of 2025 US political violence, one would include the Charlie Kirk killing, the Melissa Horman killing (MN state legislator), and the CDC shooting.

I just have to say for those of you not in LA that in the days before the horrible raids started, there was no crisis or whatever they would let you believe. It wasn't like something was escalating out of control and somebody had to step in. THEY are creating the problems.

The irony of all this is that the current administration is actively working to dismantle family planning including all reproductive health care & IVF.
So even if you CAN afford to have kids, they want to make sure you are birthing children for “good Christian families” and not able to raise them.
