One of my most used expressions at the moment..

I thought about how to translate 'Na eh' to english. But it's a lot of meaning in two 'words' in Austria. Something like 'Duh', 'Obviously' and 'Figures' I guess?

Very hard to describe. But I love how it fits with my waldrapp 😅

#inkart
Almost caricature like drawing of a waldrapp that just stands there, looking at the viewer. 'Na eh' is written beside it.

Deerly Beloved 🦌

There's a drawing challenge over at instagram that I found interesting. #botanicalbeasties2026 provides a promt for an animal and a plant each week in september.

Check it out, if you are on instagram.

To all non-native-english speakers: What language are you writing/posting in and why?

Every time I think about posting something, I can't decide what language to use. Have written all my posts so far in English, because for me this is the lingua franca of "the internet". And I do want to use it.

Finally did some drawing again!

Got myself a set of pit artist pens. Having fun with them on A6 cards. Still finding out, how much detail I want to use.

When you are totally neglecting, that you have to draw 100 dogs to make your concept work 😆
Black and white comic like drawing of 100 dogs in a scene. 5 dogs on top of a wall having lot's of glamour and space, while 50 dogs in the lower right corner are crammed together, having almost no space. The rest of the dogs share the space on the left hand side of the image.

Some penguin graphics for a talk by Richard Weinberger of 'sigma star gmbh' - "Surviving in the Open Source Jungle" The 'Wild Karl' looking out over the inn valley, the road leading down to Kiefersfelden. Done for a (never realized) beer bar. Solar plane. Part of a big wallpaper graphic in a hotel, depicting the history of travel. Emblem for the 'Royal Society for putting things on top of other things' (inspired by Monty Python of course). Done for the ALPSS Conference.
