Went up to see the Long Tailed Shrike today, I couldn' believe it when it landed on a fence wire right in front of us. Also saw a Corn Bunting, 3 Red legged Partridge and 2 Whinchat.

WR Heron at the Gann yesterday, gave us a run around for hours but finally found it had relocated there, gave us great views when found.

Nice walk up Cwm Cadlan yesterday morning, gone quiet for birds up there but plenty of interest in the flora and fauna including a couple of Marsh Fritillary butterflies.

Saw something I have never seen before today, a pair of Goshawk doing what I can only describe as practicing food passes in the air. I don't know if they were practising or the female was assessing the male, but it was amazing.

Two Ringtail Hen Harriers at Cefn Esgair-carnau on the Breckon Beacons yesterday evening. Iv'e had 5 up here this winter, the others being males.

A real surprise at Llanrhidian last evening when a Common Crane flew in. Also good views of a Short-eared Owl, Pallid Harrier and Marsh Harrier.

Llwyn -on Res early this morning, Great Northern diver still there, also watched a flock of Tits feeding on the ground to find there were 2 Willow tits among them, they came to about 8m from me by staying still.

Went down to see the Bean geese, White fronts,Pink foot and Whoopers at Caravan park, but then made a quick dash to Upper Talley lake for the Lesser Scaup, great day.

Great views of the Scops Owl last night, it flew to about 10m from us, but that wasn't close enough for one togger who got to about 5m from it and it flew off. Some people just can't help themselves!
