"To the bin my friend, tonight we vacate earth".
Cycler, runner, cooker and generally trying. Fairly sustainable. Bengals, LFC and "good music".
I'd steer clear of Volkswagens too. Just to be on the safe side.

It's just a bit lame.

Agreed on an individual journalistic level, however didn't the powerful always control the wide scale distribution of 'news'? Without deliberately invoking Marx, that involves controlling the means of production ....

The difference is that academia is in principle the pursuit of advancement (so sharing knowledge between academics is part of driving that forward). The principle of the news media is about pushing a specific agenda rather than the advancement of knowledge or factual awareness so no reason to share.

Vinted is just a platform for selling counterfeit goods, fast fashion (in order to buy more) and propping up Evri. Heinous place.

Ordinarily one shouldn't speak ill of the dead, however if you spend such a large portion of your life speaking ill of others and using your position to punch downwards it should be unsurprising if your passing isn't met with a ripple of applause.

No-one cares about the 3/4th place game, it's just players being professional in game they have to play. Mock as you like but football will never 'come home' to the US despite it cheating the rules.

It's not that their songs are simple (they are), it's that they are shit. Lyrically and musically they are like turkey twizzzlers - no redeeming qualities but mysteriously people continue to consume them....

Seen a whole bunch of self appointed 'experts' on this site demonstrate a pathetic American exceptionalism towards other countries throughout. Sad display of the inherent myopia that dominates. Lost a lot of respect for many sports journalists along the way.

The NFL just behaves like a right wing corporation. Sure it occasionally allows tokenistic messages such as 'Choose Love' on the back of a helmet but otherwise player health and fan experience are disregarded until it affects revenue at which point it does the bare minimum. See also, FIFA.

I think you lost because USMNT aren't as good at football as you think they are. You had home advantage, players playing who should have been suspended and god knows what else done to stack the odds and you still got battered.

Mouthwatering? Why? Is it two of the best teams in the tournament? No. Two of the most exciting teams to watch? No. The game where one team gets a leg up because of corrupt egos and the other team has the balls to call it out (along with the rest of the world? 🎯

This is why the US should not host any world sporting events until they are capable of acting in an adult manner. Sport is human. You might not like every decision. Grow up and deal with it.
July 5, 2026 at 9:04 PM
How can any major tournament be hosted by the US if they exert political pressure (albeit on an already corrupt organisation) to override the rules in the US's favour? No class, no integrity., no suprise.
