SEPTEMBER 24, 1957 — “JAILHOUSE ROCK” IS RELEASED!
On this day in 1957, RCA Victor released one of the most iconic records in Rock ’n’ Roll history: Elvis Presley’s “Jailhouse Rock.”
Almost 70 years later, that opening riff still hits like dynamite. #OTD

Shakin' Stevens 'Shaky' released on this day in 1981, 45 years ago! Still for me Shaky's most iconic album, peaked at number one and is one of the greatest rock n roll albums of all time. Great songs, all killer no filler with an impeccable production by Stuart Colman.
