Ever since Netflix put up ER a few days ago I have been living in a mid-'90s nostalgia cloud, it is so great. I'm nearly at the end of S1 and (a) apparently I barely remembered anything about S1 and (b) am experiencing it wildly differently than I did in the '90s.

Today's siren was, for once, just a standard annual memorial siren for Yom Hashoa. It's weird. I've never felt like I've had to mentally justify [my/county's] existence to the world as much as I have in the past 3 years. But in the end, I don't come from a family of holocaust survivors. Zero.

Project Hail Mary finally opened here in some theaters and I saw! There was an alarm during an extremely specific scene with a particular song playing that had anyone cracking up because of just how on the nose it was; movie paused until the incident was over and then resumed from the same place.

Had an alarm at 1:48 and clock switched to daylight saving time at 2AM so I got back home at 3:01. A journey.

Was JUST texting a friend about it looking like we were gonna get a nice sunset when we got yet another alarm - today has certainly been the most I've experienced so far, they've been relentless today.
