Before state troopers & other cops took over security outside the ICE facility, some of the most brutal verbal assaults on ICE that we witnessed came on weekdays when there were just two women protesting.
They eviscerated these guys & you could tell they got under ICE’s skin in ways guys couldn’t.

It’s funny/sad that folks want to pretend that it’s charisma or some magic beans that had the orange demon smiling with the mayor elect of NYC.
What is it about the regressive branch of the Democratic Party that is unable to give grace to a BW but will twist themselves into pretzels to make excuses

Today it was revealed that the Coast Guard would no longer classify swastikas and nooses as hate symbols. Unacceptable. I just met with Admiral Lunday, and got his committment to publish a new policy. Hate has no place in our armed services.

For many North Carolinians, this week's news feed was filled with headlines and videos that were heartbreaking, frightening, and enraging. But there was resistance and solidarity at every turn. Above all, there were helpers.

Important thread for my fellow North Carolinians. We need to stand 10 toes down in support of Gov Stein and AG Jackson. #NCpolitics #NorthCarolina
@ncgovernor.bsky.social and AG @jeffjacksonnc.bsky.social will never be JB Pritzker or Gavin Newsom.
It’s not because that’s not who they are or that they don’t care, I mean, if you have been following AG Jackson on any social for any amount of time, you KNOW how much he cares.

It REALLY slays me that every time Jeffries or Schumer make a post, people flood their comments with jaw-droppingly stupid replies about their effectiveness when voters gave them both a minority. It's basically toothpicks against tanks.
Meanwhile, they're STILL underperforming at the ballot box!

“I’m very let down by this, because I feel like it’s only gotten worse.”

Why has everyone decided that they should START their political career in Congress?
When I tell people to “run for something,” I mean school board, city council, board of supervisors, town select board, water board, state house/assembly, maybe even mayor.
