If Trump just takes money appropriated by Congress for a specific purpose & seizes it to use it for an entirely different purpose, what is the point of having a Congress or appropriating money for anything? I’m sure the Senate Appropriations Chair Susan Collins must be concerned.

Trucker at the bar last night told me his gas costs have gone up bc of the war. Tariffs have depressed freight loads. Worse, AI trucking may replace his job.
