Any time any anchor ever asks a Democrat about Hasan Piker, the correct response is “Piker isn’t running for anything. Republicans have a literal candidate supported by Mike Johnson who refers to kids as cum trophies. You’re asking the wrong questions.”
HOLY SHIT - Tapper plays Johnson footage of GOP candidate Brandon Herrera describing moms as "cum trophies," mentions he called Nazi machine guns "the original ghetto blasters," & asks Johnson how he can support him. Mike says "he has run a very effective campaign ... that was his persona online"

For reference: When I had my background check it was held up because I had a speeding ticket from when I went home sophomore year in college that I forgot to put on my SF-86. I got grilled about why I didn’t disclose it (they eventually believed it was mistake). The FBI as we knew it is gone.

One perk of not being a member of the whca anymore and not having to do White House pool duty in rotation is I can easily decline being used as a potential explosion decoy by the dumbest, meanest asshole president who’s ever lived

The fact that after receiving classified briefings about COVID, Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue downplayed the virus to the public and invested in BODY BAGS should have been a bigger a story.
Running out of body bags, using forklifts to transfer corpses into makeshift morgues, a mortician conducting 200 funerals in a month when he usually does 30, crematories running at double capacity…

And these senators just want to memory-hole it all
