Im no expert, but pretty sure Sheeran/ his promoter would have had to front up a lot of money to hire venues/ sound equipment/ security and stewards. Venues dont give themselves for free, if a concert is canceled they're not losing a lot, if anything. Direct your anger at Kraft and other NFL owners.
Ed Sheeran could have refused to boot Macklemore and forced venues to decide if they wanted to lose all that revenue or not. What is the point of being rich and having a platform if you're so easily bullied into being a useless coward?
