July? Is it planned that far in advance?

No worries.

Are you still here? I don't think I got to see you?

We need to free up cell space for Farage and his friends somewhere.

It looks like it made a real mess of the place. I could see the smoke from here.

I'm hoping to get away from Virgin too. All the other options here are either much slower, or much more expensive.

City Fibre said they could give us a better and cheaper connection, then pulled out saying it was "unsafe" to connect us.

I recall once I had to see someone at my bank. They had left a page with the full personal details of the previous customer on their desk - name, address, telephone, occupation, employer, account no. etc - I could read it all.

Fortunately for them I have a bad memory and forgot it within minutes.

Same here. I'd never heard of Taco Bell when I first saw it, so didn't understand the references. It wasn't until after a Taco Bell opened here that I saw the Pizza Hut version.

I'm not sure. I've always heard stories of tunnels under that school - probably exaggerated - but I'm sure there's still a lot of stuff to find there.

I haven't emailed my MP because I don't need to. I already know she's doing her utmost to prevent this from becoming law.

Unfortunately it seems I am going to find out, as Reform have got in here in Essex. Just as the Tories seemed to have got their collective fingers out and started repairing all the potholes properly for once!

I was hoping for a LD takeover, but it didn't happen. I didn't even get a chance to vote.

They have (IIRC) mentioned potholes. Something about bringing in new technology to fix them. I guess they'll use AI to do it. I can see social care being an issue for many of their followers who will assume it is being used to fund migrants.

This is my hope too. Also they have put great stock in their "Stop the boats" policies. Lets see how effective they are at that as it's not a local government issue.

Also they seem to have won a lot of councillors, but few councils, which is better than I hoped.

It shows they are very scared the Greens are going to beat them in the elections.

I made "tapes" or "compilations". I've mostly heard "mixtape" used in American movies.

(My wife says I'm really Gen-X although technically I'm a Boomer.)

No person has landed on the moon outside of my lifetime.
No person has landed on the moon during my wife's lifetime.

I find it mind boggling that both these statements are true.
(I was born in 1964, she was born in 1973).

My panels and batteries were fitted in August 2022. I've recovered 50% of the cost so far in savings.

The panels are probably going to out last me, so I'm not to worried about replacing them ever - unless much more efficient panels (30%+) come out, in which case it might be worth it.

It was definitely Tack Bell (which I'd never heard of at the time) when I first saw it in the UK on TV. Only recently have I seen the version with Pizza Hut.

I got one too, but I did set up an account to try out ChatGPT some time back. I found it mostly useless so haven't used it since.
