along these lines, you can just not share shit from the ontologically evil new york times
blueskys need to repost/promote/spread the words of a columnist they purportedly hate is mental. it's mad behaviour. you don't have to read or think about them, especially an irish times paywalled columnist. they are preaching to the choir, let them stay cloistered !

fuck you man
I know what adjuncts make, and it is scandalous. But that’s because the market is glutted with PhDs - including people who should have either abandoned the PhD or abandoned the idea of a teaching career.

I know that sounds cruel, but that’s real talk.

it's darkly funny to me that liberal currents reshared a "the left is so mean to will stancil" piece amidst a multi day stancil meltdown where he insists that trans people shouldn't have opinions about democrats selling them out for votes in exactly the same way labour did. unserious shit.

Like I can't stress enough that this tension is at the heart of everything and if you try and get round it your analysis is going to fall apart.

You need wages to live. The people who own everything don't want to pay you. That's it. Everything else is commentary.
Watching people struggle to grasp the philosophical issues without a Marxist analysis is kinda painful. They know something is up but without the right tools they're floundering around.

The bosses would always rather automate your job away because they hate paying wages. That's it, man.

Chinook salmon have recolonised 88% of their historic range on the Klamath River, with more than 13,000 fish passing the old Iron Gate Dam site in 2025, up from 7,700 the year before. Two years after the dams’ removal, it’s going better than anyone predicted. buff.ly/pToC9gB

fuck that, post your notes for the case as an appendix to the decision at the time it's released. it's already been finally decided, so why should the public have to wait?
Pretty outrageous that the Supreme Court increasingly plans to release its records only when the entire public that lived through the decisions are dead. Congress should pass legislation requiring all internal communication be preserved and then released 5 years after a justice's retirement.

they literally just exist to ratify the actions of the powerful and quash dissenters or anything that smells of reform
Symmetry would entail recognizing that ppl can be injured by the mere unlawfulness of executive acts. But because the Court says that's not an injury, nobody gets to sue just to make the government act lawfully, plfs are stuck coming up with theories of aesthetic injury, which the Court then mocks:
