Happy parkrun day to one and all! Things were a little calmer than last week as 344 of us set off on RTW parkrun number 557, which also happened to be our 13th consecutive parkrun with an attendance of more than 300 – something that's not been achieved here before.

Happy parkrun day to one and all! Things were a little calmer than last week as 344 of us set off on RTW parkrun number 557, which also happened to be our 13th consecutive parkrun with an attendance of more than 300 – something that's not been achieved here before.

This weekend we don’t think there’s another wedding taking place but we couldn’t make everything simple and so instead we’re holding a pacer day. All are welcome to join us in the park for briefings from 8.50am tomorrow.

Unfortunately, we have to cancel this weekend’s Royal Tunbridge Wells parkrun, on 26th September.
We don’t take this decision lightly, and we’re sorry for the disappointment it may cause, but an evening drone show means the events field has been closed much earlier than anticipated.

Unfortunately, we have to cancel this weekend’s Royal Tunbridge Wells parkrun, on 26th September.

There may not have been a lot of brightness in the sky, but there were a lot of bright, smiling faces as 321 of us completed today's parkrun through the methods of running, jogging, walking or dancing (as RD Ross told us, today is National Dance Day).

This Saturday we’re having a visit from Hospice in the Weald, a vital local charity and organisers of a popular annual 5k, 10k and half marathon event later this month.

A massive thank you to Tunbridge Wells Harriers for bringing us rain!
We had a visit from the local running club, who took over most of the volunteering duties and gave some of us a rest. Throw in a lot of pacers and it meant an incredible 83 volunteers supported 369 of us completing a 5k this week.
