However, at $45 a bag, even if it came with 5 random pins, I wasn’t going to risk it so I decided to just spend about $30 on Ebay and buy them forthright. 100% worth it.

Plus, I keep thinking about the Essences and Permutations book in the Google Library. This feels like the literal guide to how they'll work to some degree. If it wasn't such a lame name, I'd almost want to call the Naturalists (since elementalist is already a thing).

Since everyone is screaming and pointing at pink cat person's very crossbow-like back item, I'm going to throw out the most likely completely incorrect theory that the wand-thingie they have is related to how they do attacks.
