Strong families are the foundation of a strong society. Every day, fathers teach responsibility, hard work, character, and independence.

I had an amazing day spending time with our M&O Teams throughout the district. It kind of felt like an episode of “Undercover Boss” except I wasn’t in disguise and I’m not the boss 😂

Unfortunately, the SISD Board of Trustees voted against this proposal 5-1, and it will not be offered at this time.

The good news is the conversation was had and there are a couple other options moving forward that the district will explore to extend transportation to Ft. Bliss.

Socorro ISD approved a balanced $462.1 million budget with a small surplus and plans to rebuild reserves after years of deficits. But state oversight may remain longer than expected as TEA’s conservator cited unresolved reporting issues. elpasomatters.org/2026/06/17/s...

Thank you to the Americas Trailblazers for inviting me to present and speak at your 2026 Senior Awards Ceremony! It’s always a great day to be in Blazer Nation and it was even more special being able to present the Trailblazer Challenge Coin to our military connected students.

I’m excited to see this new partnership between Socorro Independent School District and Fort Bliss! Starting in the 26-27 school year, SISD will provide transportation options for military families attending select SISD campuses.

This weekend I had the opportunity to attend the Libertarian National Convention in Grand Rapids, MI as a delegate from Texas. It was great to spend time with people from across the country who are committed to advancing individual liberty, limited government, and principled leadership.
