That’s the goal. They want somebody to pop one of these no badge thugs, and when it happens they’ll use it as justification for even more violence and lawlessness.

Even if removal is futile, I think there is an obligation to force members of congress to make an up/down vote on this lawlessness
What would the point be of another Trump impeachment when he’s a lame duck and Rs won’t convict him?

I agree, but any plan must anticipate there being a blanket pardon for members of the Trump administration (arguably the precedent to do this was already set by Biden)
anybody who wants my vote in 2026 or 28 better be real-deal committed to prosecutions and prison sentences for a whole host of Trump admin people, including Trump himself, and his goons in various agencies
