Introspection can be a whetstone for your knife. It sharpens it until it can split mountains. Yet you need to be wary of the direction it is pointed, for it can cleave apart even the self.

What does it mean to be a sinner? Is it to hurt others for your own gain? Is it to find comfort in deluding yourself to be doing something for the "greater good"? Is it to sacrifice your all in an empty attempt to find meaning for yourself? To burn yourself for others only to be tossed aside?

Staring out towards the sea, it has become more and more restless. Were there was a calm sunset, now are waves crashing against eachother in an unrelenting storm. The calm beach had washed away, leaving only jagged, sharp rocks on the shoreline. It became a scene devoid of hospitality.
