Not gonna lie I'm really tired of racists in art communities getting more attention (from people who want to dunk on them) than Black artists who are doing their own thing and trying to get seen.

Instead of stating the obvious (that said racist sucks) try lifting a Black creator or two???

The Baltimore Sun, who canned longtime cartoonist Kevin Kallaugher last year for "ultra-liberal" politics, now runs unauthored AI cartoons showing citizens thanking their mayor for everything he does.

On September 4, 2026, The Sun published what can only technically be called an “illustration” it intended its readers to accept as an editorial cartoon.  Whatever the intent, the only message The Sun ...

My brother Fouad points to his eye, but the real wound is deeper. It's the pain of blindness, the fear, the uncertainty about tomorrow. How does my brother bear this? We need more than just help; we need peace. Fouad deserves all our attention.🥹🥹🥹

The entirety of modern politics is a machine for preventing people from realizing the truth: that there are no valid right wing positions.

Let's talk about an excuse I'm seeing, that politicians are just using transphobic rhetoric to temporarily win conservatives and will revert to more pro-trans positions in office. So we should vote for them anyway.

I've investigated governments for over 20 years. That ain't ever how it works.🧵...
Any "compromise" on trans rights is both deeply wrong in itself and lays groundwork for worse.

Sports bans? Segregate us from part of public life, establish legal grounds for further discrimination.

Healthcare bans for trans kids? More trans kids die and trans healthcare as a whole is endangered.

Free political advice, most people are fairly tuned out when it comes to trans rights yet find it deeply weird to be obsessed with trans people, transphobia is the remit of billionaire pedophiles, and if you're adopting anti-trans stances, that's who it looks like you're serving the interests of.

I feel that certain forms of art are relatively insultated from the threat of AI. It will create a bifurcated market, where people who engage with art primarily as a distraction will bow to the machine, whereas people that use art for its emotional value will pay a premium for human made stuff.
