Rishi Sunak literally boasted during the 2022 leadership election that he took local government funding away from poor areas and redirected it towards nicer areas? Wandsworth literally had a specific carve-out from the grant funding system dating back to the 90s?

Badenoch brings in lawyers after 94% Wandsworth Council tax hike
A row is growing over Wandsworth Council's rise, which the local authority is blaming on government funding cuts.

It would be quite funny to see the CANZ part of CANZUK turn to the EU and leave the UK high and dry.
Australia and Canada are leading the way - they are choosing closer ties with the EU.

The EU is our closest partner.

The UK government should put EU membership on the table. It's really a no-brainer.

Should have guessed that the thing that would eventually kill off the right's interest in grammar schools would be non-white kids doing too well in the 11+.
That’s selection for ya 😉

The po facedness of this
They're not staff though, they are servants of the people who elected them, and they are currently presiding over a failing polity. They should be embarrassed.

I listen to Screen Rot and a bit of Greg James. You’re life is better if you don’t listen to Today, just chill out, have a laugh, listen to good music
A lot of people getting angry about the Today programme on my TL. They should be cool like me and get angry about the Playlister on Radio 3’s Essential Classics instead.

Yes and, Kent Police need to have a real look at themselves, there was nothing going on in the county, nothing to police apart from this
Mahmood should resign in disgrace for this. Utter rank incompetence that comes from the top down
So Kent Police knew about the fash mobilising 24 hours prior to the event?

The British public would happily see skulls cracked
Extreme right-wing protesters are in a stand-off with the RNLI in Portsmouth. The group, led by Danny Tommo, are waist-deep in the sea and threatening to go "under the water" if police try to arrest them. Six lifeboats monitoring. Volunteer rescuers giving up their evening for this.

WHAT DO YOU DO, WHEN YOU WANNA DO A POO, IN AN ENGLISH COUNTRY GARDEN
In her Reform conference speech, Suella Braverman said that under a Reform government, schoolchildren will be obliged to sing the national anthem and “our great hymns”.

Think it also goes back to when Cleverley was on the GLA during the Johnson mayoralty, and they shut down police and fire stations
