i get your point, but as a person who is from #NYC and now lives-in #Louisville, I'd love if a lot more people found our very special city! But yeah, they're not doing that. They're just not traveling.

#Louisville resident here! Locally, we say "Luh-vul". Two syllables, short and cut. Our downtown tourist center actually makes fun of this:

Also, for most IQ tests (Weschler and Stanford-Binet), 115 is one standard deviation (Most SD=15 mean of 100), so you're right in with 68% of people between 85 and 115. one more SD gets 93% of people. You're right in the middle if you're 115.

don't stress. IQ is a snapshot of a moment. It does not define you. It doesn't measure thinking ability, knowledge, cognitive awareness, emotional intelligence, verbal skills. It simply states how well you perform on one test, at one time.

Do not post these. These are volkish, a subsect of Norse belief that is inherently racist. It’s an attempt to put a “10 commandants” like list into heathenry. Reject this list. Individually these are not negative, but as a group they’re written and supported by racists.

Cinnamon Raisin Bagels, while delicious, are not a bagel. It's hopeful bread. Bread with a dream that's just out of reach. I'm sure there's a German compound word for how Cinnamon Raisin Bagels feel, but they're it. Not bagels. #bagels #cinnamonraisin #german

I’m so bad at trying to rest and recover. I feel like if I’m not rushing around I’m not justifying myself.

That makes me very happy other Heathens are so willing to stand up to the hateful comments. Our shield wall will always repel their hatred. #heathensky #transsky

A question: How do you keep going when you're discouraged? Being trans, I'm feeling very frustrated by the current environment and I just don't have much zest for anything lately because I'm just afraid and angry with people. Any spiritual activities that could help? #heathensky #pagansky #witchsky

Elves and Dwarves are from Alfheim and Svartalfheim respectfully - both are Vaetir - natural spirits. Elves usually represent natural spaces and magic, while Dwarves usually represent industry & craftsmanship. Tolkien used these ideas when creating his Elf/Dwarven characters in LOTR.

See, the 3 all the same race - they're just from different places. Aesir are from Asgard, one of the 9 realms and deal with human society and interactions. The Vanir are from Vaniheim, and represent how people interact with nature. Jotun are from Jotunheim and represent raw natural powers.
