He/him Trained sound engineer who’s gone in wonky direction. I’m all about the spoken word, these days love accent and dialects and comedic performance, going to make go of it in 2026 professionally arts media sport and the rest
You’re ruining the click bait with facts that’s not often done on the Internet these days you’re supposed to add to misinformation and stir up discourse alternative facts not real ones with knowledge and a well reasoned coherent explanation

Indeed I would like to see them added an additional team to the #WPL I think there are enough good players in India and around the world to make another competitive team. What do you reckon?

I was quite surprised given the impact player rule that Cameron Green went for so much because all rounders aren’t as valuable if you can sub in a specialist batter or bowler

Also lastly from me they need to do away with the impact sub what I bother buying an all rounder in the auction they’re not needed and it’s weird how they implement it that you can bring someone in to the batting lineup for someone who’s already got out it’s weird

Also in men’s franchise cricket, it is very apparent the players that playing in the leagues for the franchises don’t care very much because they can lose and there’s no consequence the next day they’re on the plane to another league to play more matches, it’s very mercenary at least look interested

I mean, I have strong feelings about multi club ownerships in football. I don’t think they should be allowed and that applies to cricket as well I don’t think you should be allowed to own multiple teams or franchises in different leagues.

Birmingham Phoenix have a similar problem that is slightly different. The people who bought the majority share in that franchise also own Birmingham City football club so cricket fans that support Aston Villa are not happy at all and Nottingham Trent are now owned by blue co (Chelsea)🤮haha

It’s not that so much. No one was attached to the name of northern superchargers but the issue is a lot of people in Yorkshire wouldn’t support the team with Leeds in the name that that’s where they’ve misjudged it tribal and football loyalties and local rivalries lol
January 27, 2026 at 7:23 PM
Yeah, it’s interesting. I’m really encouraged with the WPL and how well it is doing it’s only a matter of time before India become the dominant power in women’s cricket. Have you seen the sunrises owners have decided to call the hundred franchise. Leeds sunrises hasn’t gone down well lol

How do you feel about the IPL and the WPL following the American franchise model? Obviously you can see the fan support the team and the franchise but how genuine and heartfelt do you think it is? In England, I think people find it difficult to care very much.
