The Clacton by-election is on Thursday 13th August. It's your chance to have a say in the future.
This letter isn't just for people who voted for me in 2024. In fact, it may be even more important if you didn't.
Today, I'm asking all of you to lend me your vote. Not because of who I am or the party I lead, Reform UK. But because together we have a chance to send a message from Clacton that Westminster cannot ignore.
Some of you will ask why I chose to resign as your MP and ask for your vote again in this by-election. The answer is simple.
Since the day I was elected in Clacton, the political establishment has done everything it can to undermine me and Reform UK. They've attacked me personally, targeted my family and tried to discredit everything we stand for.
But I've never believed those attacks were really just about me. They come after me because I've been prepared to stand up for communities like Clacton that Westminster has ignored. They're trying to silence millions of people who simply want to be heard.
People worried about the cost of living, soaring energy bills, the way pensioners have been treated, the trouble getting a GP appointment, and the strain that record immigration has put on our communities.
The establishment is desperate to stop me giving a voice to the concerns of people like you. In short, I want to stop the boats, and so they want to stop me.
That is why this by-election isn't really about me. It is about whether the people of Clacton are prepared to stand together and say, with one voice: enough is enough. This is your opportunity to send a message that cannot be ignored.
