Yup. We had a batshit priest that would preach over a PA system early Sunday AM you could hear a mile away, he probably worshipped Reagan and put it up, and then the way more sane priests after him kept it in place, probably to not ruffle the feathers of the parishioners that certainly liked it.

Yeah no it’s not mandatory, up to parish or local bishop. I moved to my area 3 years ago and noticed this is a local trend. I also was like, what is that yellow/white flag?
I do recall the American flag in my church growing up next to the altar! Which is not recommended.

I recall an American flag at the side of the altar at my church growing up. I noticed Vatican flags outside churches (usually the rectory type buildings) in this area I moved to in ‘23, and now one is down, I’m on watch to look for the status on others. Idiots.

So apparently in 1877 or whatever three of the world’s oceans had some sort of cycle lined up plus that niño sitch, and millions died of famine, and we have that same cycle lineup. Ppl are doubting that graphic, but I’m sure it’s data extrapolated somehow based on whatever data they do have…
