Ever wonder why cats show us their butts? 😂This meme explains it.
I might have been tired but I think my point was clear, that Arabs were preventing Jews from conducting services at the Western Wall, it was not the Jews interfering with Arab rights or anyone's rights in Palestine.
Could you please clarify your point in this ? So far I see your point as trying to say 1-1=0 but that's not really how this works now.. does it?

- The law states You Shall Not Murder!
* But Judge, he did it too!
- Correct, YOU ARE FREE TO GO

this is kinda what I get so far from your argument

Can you explain why you feel that way? I'm very curious.
Personally, I don't think Israel should exist. Yet here we are 🤷

I'm ignorant of all these historical details; you're better educated than I am on all of this, obviously. You've been very polite & since my ignorance & lack of time make debating this hard- being ill-equipped with adequate knowledge or time for research- to give an effective argument.
Every real UPJ case hands you one specific document you can point to and say "this line, exactly." Here there isn't one.

So, since the UK & the Jews didn't decide the borders, the original JNH borders don't apply; so Jordan was legal since Israel had no claim to it; & since there were no borders for Israel, UPJ can't apply. Destroy Israel- I mean, 'dismantle'- I'm taking as your bottom line. Condensed version. Yes?
4/ So nothing in your reply is new. It's the same two claims, already named and already answered, sent back without a response to either answer. I don't mind discussing but you can't just keep resending the same original claim and say it's an answer..

And how does it make the land automatically Arab? Since Arabs stole it in war, lost it in war, & the UN should have ordered Jordan to withdraw after the 1948 war. Israel has to keep the land if they want to have defensible borders. In Israel's case, it's survival, & your 'dismantle' talk proves it.
on your next point: a void Jordanian claim doesn't automatically make the land Israeli, that's one of the weirdest argument you made so far.
September 3, 2026 at 3:42 PM
No, I read it. Israel knows if they let land be sold to too many Arabs, they'll take over. Arabs (P.A.) don't permit selling land to Jews (on pain of death). Arab countries like Jordan don't permit it. Israel must stay majority Jewish to stay a Jewish state or be the 22 Arab State. It's survival.
Since you probably won't want to read the whole thing here's an easy screenshot which already says enough. I do wish you would read the whole thing

But wasn't it decided that the UN can't give Israel conditions to join the UN when no such prerequisites existed for any other state so they had to let them join?
+ There really is a fair argument for it to be dismantled. Did you know for instance its acceptance at the UN was conditional on the promise that they would abide by international law and The Right Of Return.. yet it does neither

bsky.app/profile/talk...
1. Israel’s UN Membership Was Conditional

Before discussing occupation, war, or international violations, we need to establish a key legal and historical point: Israel was admitted into the United Nations on the condition that it implement the right of return for Palestinian refugees.

But Jordan had a definite boundary established by the mandate & they declared independence in 1946. Syria had its mandate boundaries; also Lebanon, Egypt...1906. The boundaries of the mandate DID already exist. RES181 never took effect. So what are you talking about?
The ICJ ruled directly against this position in July 2024, and Israel declared independence before any actual boundary existed.. the reverse of how the doctrine works.
September 3, 2026 at 3:29 PM
So you're saying Israel erased their own legal claim to Judea/Samaria by agreeing to negotiate the status of the land that Jordan kept (1948-50)? or the amount Israel managed to acquire in war beyond the 181 borders? Please clarify.
That's not the UN erasing a claim, that's Israel itself, at the negotiating table, agreeing the territorial question stayed open.
September 3, 2026 at 3:18 PM
But wasn't it Jordan who insisted it not be permanent borders? Jordan attacked them again in '67, Israel took the remaining land that was originally granted to Israel in the mandate & through UPJ.
That's not the UN erasing a claim, that's Israel itself, at the negotiating table, agreeing the territorial question stayed open.
September 3, 2026 at 3:08 PM
Israel nearly agreed to a deal to return it, but the Syrian civil war broke out. Personally, I don't think Israel should ever return it.
Syria's title to Golan had no such defect: it was uncontested sovereign Syrian territory from 1944 on, with no rival claimant. Even on Schwebel's own framework, there's no "unlawful prior holder" to out-title there.

Israel does not have to give citizenship to a hostile, enemy people who commit terrorism. Israel has many diverse cultures, all with equal rights. Palestinian were Jordanians; they have a country. Jordan made them refugees, not Israel.
Israel has a "diverse" population, as do most countries positioned between three continents. That's not what makes them an illegal, apartheid state. That status is the result of denying full rights and legal representation to non-Jewish people whose families have lived in Palestine for generations.
September 3, 2026 at 2:21 PM
I reiterate, Israel has a diverse population, & most Israelis are Mizrachi descent, not European. Are you projecting your hang up on racism? While ignoring everything the Arabs have done to bring war, reject peace, drive out Jews instead of agreeing to land for peace offered many times?
Stop applying a White Supremacist filter to Southwest Asia. It doesn't work.
September 2, 2026 at 11:37 PM
Correct me if I am wrong but wasn't it the Arabs who were prejudicing the rights of the Jews? Appealing to Britain to stop their worship at the Kotel, by preventing them from bringing religious articles to aid in their worship practices?
But then: that ignores the other half of the same document because Article 2 of the Mandate is equally explicit that nothing shall prejudice "the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities."
September 2, 2026 at 11:33 PM
Israel tried to negotiate with Syria. With Syria maintaining a state of war with Israel, Could Israel risk returning such strategic territory just to be attacked again, & Schwebel agreed.

I question Moshe Dayan's judgment as a general for stopping Jordanians from fleeing to Jordan. Can't find his exact quote, but his actions show this policy, preventing a mass refugee situation (but they were Jordanians😕). I assume the Israeli gvt. wanted to return the WB for a peace treaty w/Jordan.
September 2, 2026 at 10:43 PM
You wish. Israel will be around longer than you'd like. You'd rather not acknowledge how 'Palestinians' didn't claim the 'West Bank' under Jordan, only under the Jews, because they were Jordanian citizens under Jordan! They had a country solving the refugee status. Now they're Jordanian refugees.
"Or." Words have meaning.

Either you are too ignorant to discuss this topic, or you are arguing in bad faith. Either way, that's not my problem to fix.

Luckily, Israel won't exist as a state much longer, so we can spend our energy and time helping Palestinians to rebuild their lives instead.

Funny the UNSC didn't do the same when Jordan annexed Judea/Samaria but I learned they didn't interfere in that way in 1950. Had Israel abided by that resolution, IMO, it would have led to missiles from Hezbollah, PLO, Iran. Israel maintaining control prevented that. Sometimes the law is an ass.
3/ "A country may take land in defense & hold it" isn't international law. Occupying law says the occupier never gets sovereignty, however the war started. That's the actual legal basis UNSC 497 used to void the Golan annexation: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli_occupation_of_the_Golan_Heights

Maybe so, but I reiterate, intl law expert Steven Schwebel wrote in 'What Weight to Conquest' (who served as an ICJ judge 1981-2000), telling his legal opinion & Israel's seizing Golan + their legal right to Judea/Samaria. Legally, the 19-year shelling justified it despite Dayan's careless remarks.

Read your rpt, how does it dispute my assertion?
Jordan is the eastern boundary at Israel's independence. 1948. UNGARES181 never materialized; standing boundaries are those at the moment of independence. arizonalawreview.org/pdf/58-3/58a...

It predicted the dispersal of the Jews from the land, & many other happenings, and the people who were to disperse them, but I have to go for awhile, we'll have to go into it later. Shalom, lehitraot, good discussion, very interesting.

If it wasn't written by G-d, how did the Torah predict the future? (I am quoting to be sure you get my response to this statement by you)

What's wrong with using AI to find sources quickly? How is that sad as your friend said. I don't have any other way to do research, and it is faster than googling; it does the googling for you. I don't have a university library at hand or a Yeshiva next door.
Oh of course not, she got all her previous answers on the Torah from a fucking LLM, posted pics and everything
