And finally, I have really been enjoying the books from 831 Stories. They’re novella-length romances, they seem to be releasing a new one monthly, and they have honestly all been pretty delightful. FOUND TIME and EXIT LANE are two I read this month and they were perfect.

CHERRY BABY, by Rainbow Rowell. You should just trust me, and go in fairly blind. I love Rowell’s writing, and have read her across many genres, including those I tend not to favor.

Also. Did you all know that this bird, the marabou stork, easily the ugliest animal I’ve ever seen, is where marabou feathers for robes and boas and all that floofy fanciness historically came from? Now, they largely use turkey feathers. Apologies to any marabou stork followers.

I’m planning a scavenger hunt for my nephew’s tenth birthday, and as part of that, I’ve painted some rocks to be found (and some to be re-hidden) They’re all scavengers of the animal kingdom. I even made an Instagram account for tagging if people find the hidden ones after our hunt.
