My father’s family has lived in Kerrville’s Doyle community-the black & Latino side of town-for nearly a century. My great-grandmother was a pillar of that neighborhood, feeding & housing dozens across generations. I just know that area is gone & those folks-like everyone in Texas-deserve better.
