I can't decide what to do with Murakami yet, but my gut is telling me that his 230 ADP on NFBC is a good value. The Ks are a big concern, but if you can deploy him correctly it could worth the power

Not great to have an injury in general, but it could be a sneaky good thing if Riley O'Brien misses the WBC entirely, resting and keeping his draft price down. I have been targeting him as the Cardinals closer in the mold of a Ryan Walker type. Not buying the Jojo Romero or Svanson closer talk
Riley O’Brien has a mild calf strain and is out of the WBC. He will remain in the pool of eligible pitchers that can be added for the championship rounds, but at a minimum he won’t travel to Japan for pool play.

Not to add insult to injury, but I didn't understand the Westburg draft price last year and it was happening again this year until this. Hope he comes back the same player. I guess this means more playing time for Coby Mayo, and his price will go up, but I don't trust the Orioles to let him play.
Jared Jones is someone to keep an eye on in the spring. He was looking like the second coming of Spencer Strider for a second there before the injury. If he has the velocity, huge bargain as an afterthought right now. Sounds like he had a good offseason too 💍

I fear that we might not see Walker Jenkins until late in the summer, but if he can stay healthy he has a very fantasy friendly profile. Great approach, good power and speed. Worth stashing in non-NFBC. Will be a big FAAB pickup in NFBC later. The Twins tanking around that time could be an issue.

Been scooping up a lot of Imanaga early in draft season as a 3rd/4th starter. Low WHIP on a good team = good value. Concerns are age, workload, lack of long term commitment from the team

Lane Thomas is a 5th OF target. The Royals gave him a decent amount of money, which makes me think he might avoid the short-side platoon role most of the season. With the fences coming in, could be a sneaky 20/20 if everything goes right. NFBC ADP 391

I'm old enough to remember when Kodai Senga was a Cy Young candidate two years ago. Buy low. The most concerning thing is the number of pitchers the Mets have, so the innings will likely be lower than we want, but still could be a big value in Ws and Ks

Still high on Andrew Painter. The dip in the minors last year looks like they were just having him work on his secondaries more. Dombrowski has a history of letting young pitchers come up and have a big workload too. Some post hype sleeper value.

Buy low on Lawrence Butler. Previous reports that the pressure of the big new contract last year held him back a bit + the injury. If it clicks, 30/30 potential in that ballpark.

Not sure I like hearing this. Dansby Swanson has been one of the most projectable players in MLB for the last 5 years. If he does make a fundamental change and goes sub-20 HR, not sure the BA gain will be worth it

This sucks. Pablo Lopez was a rare example of a buy-low Ace this season in early draft season. Also have to wonder what this means for the tail end of his career. Seems like a good dude
