Mamdani is doing something interesting, which is investing a huge amount of his political capital into the nuts and bolts of governing. That is really unusual! If he succeeds, other politicians might focus more on implementation, correcting a huge blind spot for them!

Deleted my posts because of 10000 typos but the idea that people in nyc dsa are trying to cosplay as blue collar does not at all fit w how the average non blue collar dsa member presents themselves in my experience. NYT and NYP just really want that to be the case
