I just cut my grass in an extreme heat warning and damn were they right about it being extreme. Had to take breaks in between cutting the front and back yard, then another before doing all the edges. Now to hydrate and then stay indoors forever.

Learning how to speak German ist lustig. It’s going alright, still laughing at some phrases like “my sausage is good” and silly pronunciation of certain words.

My mother is homeless, living in her car with a stray cat, and despite my nearly 3 years of helping her and giving advice and offering her opportunities, she somehow manages to make it MY problem every single day.

I love hearing the rain trickling down on my roof while I’m in the RV. It’s very cozy, especially if it’s late enough and I’m in bed.

Backrooms was simply okay. Felt like it could have had time for a little more story or more exploration if they just filmed a little less point-camera-at-random-object cinematic shots.

Didn’t get my floors down, but I’m all moved out and almost unpacked into my new place. Just gonna walk all over the primed subfloor and try to keep it clean for now. Gotta work tomorrow and then I have two more days off to fuck around on the floors. I’m absolutely spent.

Shower just needs caulk and it’s done! Now tomorrow I’ll prime the subfloor, then lay down the flooring on Monday.

- Small appliances
- Mattress, Blanket & Pillows
- Bath mat, shower curtain, towels
- Other little stuff I’m forgetting

Bought an expensive air fryer to use when I move into my new place. Open it today and it’s VERY dented on one corner. Drive to Best Buy to return it, and it’s past the return window.
But for $50 I can become a member, then exchange it.
