suspect a big reason why many academics and others who work in areas where getting facts RIGHT is key are disinterested in using LLMs for research:
they’ve tried it, they keep noticing major errors in output, and they conclude that having to verify all that doesn’t actually save them time.

Sometimes I go to the movies during home OSU games, but I just watched Frankenstein (a masterpiece) and it ended at the exact time that everyone is trying to leave Ohio Stadium (a master mistake).

This is so important. The Library of Congress staff holding the line against illegal takeover yesterday is even more heroic if you realize that digital book-burning and placing every copyrighted item in the hands of AI is the goal.
