for group RP usually whoever leads it decides I think. For WoL Alais, I think she's around 25 as of post-DT (she starts out 19 in ARR). I tend to think that the patchs take about as much time per patch as the MSQ, which is usually pretty fast.

You are allowed to draw characters in pseudo-Chinese outfits actually. It's something people have been doing for a long time. Hell, during the Ming dynasties people were culturally appropriating earlier Han Chinese styles. Just don't be daft, you don't need a C-card to draw penises and tits.
