I was proud to begin this day of remembrance alongside FDNY Commissioner Bonsignore by laying a wreath at the foot of the Firemen’s Memorial. For more than a century, this monument has honored the heroes who risk their lives to keep us safe.

Today on 9/11, we remember and honor the lives that were taken from us in a terrible act of terrorism. Nothing can justify the murder of innocent civilians. Nothing.

We all know Witkoff & Kushner’s goal in Russia was to use US policy to make business deals to benefit themselves and their families, which is what they have done full-time since Jan 2025. They have no interest in what’s best for Ukraine or what’s just. Their greed is insatiable.

Corporations spend more than $1.5 billion a year on union-busting.

That’s $1.5 billion they could have spent on higher wages, better benefits, and improving workplace safety.

Remember: if they weren’t so scared of worker power, they wouldn’t fight so hard against unions.

If Democrats are sincere about appealing to Republicans, they can start by referring to their Texas Senate candidate as “Tali-freak-o” and banning Zohran Mamdani from 9/11 memorials. Otherwise, it’s the same old smug elitism.
