This morning Ron and I said goodbye to Tupac as we helped him walk the rainbow bridge.  The best figures are that he was at least 17 years old and in very bad health.  He had humans who provided for him, then they lost him and went away without him.  He was adopted by a couple who loved and provided for him but then the woman he loved died. 

Just how hateful a misinformed Christian do you need to be to equate Nazism to LGBTQ+ pride?  One aggressively harmed others and ostracized entire groups from society, eventually imprisoning and killing them.  LGBTQ+ pride flags, festables, and exisitance don't harm anyone nor force anyone to live a LGBTQ+ lifestyle or be LGBTQ+. I cannot imagine the bigotry and being that unquestioningly misinformed.

I saw this first hand.   Back in 1996, Ron and I moved into a neighborhood being bought up by wealthy people.  It was an older neighborhood being taken over by wealthy gays and others of money.   Across the main 4 lane street from our neighborhood was a large migrant population of hard working poor brown people.   A group from that sort of wealthy people came to tell us that they did not want to give out candy to "those kids" and that the kids in our neighborohood would be having Halloween candy night a day early and asked we keep our lights off and take down our decorations before the other kids could come the next night.

  A long, long time ago, I worked (for a short time) as a Chargeback Associate at a major department store. One of my duties was to notify suppliers of damaged or returned items so the company could be reimbursed. The suppliers didn’t want the items back, so – in the case of clothing – I had to cut it up so people couldn’t get usable clothing out of the dumpster.

As an abused trafficed kid I was constantly told I was unworthy of anyone loving me.  I was constantly told that unless I agreed to do what my abusers wanted I would die alone on the streets under a bridge.  I had it drilled into me I was not loveable, I was not worthy of normal human respect.  I think you can understand they used different words, more hateful, along with physical violence to reinforce it. 

Angie Nixon shows that politicians need to support the LGBTQ+ community instead of running from them.  She speaks with a lesbian about her life and her wife.  She is supportive and it comes out Nixon's son is gay / out and she is a very supportive mother.   Hugs
