Safeway was one of the last grocery stores to move away from regular registers to scanning. I miss the sound of all those things whirring away and having to review every receipt to make sure the numbers were punched in correct. Oh, and deciding which groceries I didn't have the money to pay for.

This caravan has about 600 people and usually only about half actually reach the border and cross. But just look at that menacing crowd of rapists, murderers and drug dealers!
