Police are investigating donations worth £500,000 made to Reform UK by the mother of a convicted fraudster and ally of Nigel Farage.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't there an inherent problem with a politician hoping to be the next PM shilling for a gold bullion company?
As I understand it, gold tends to do well when the economy is in the toilet and PM Farage would want the economy to do well no?
