There is a conceit we have in this country that we must trust that our system of govt contains all of the solutions we need to address any problems that might arise & if we fail to solve a problem w/the tools our govt made available to us, the failure is ours.

To my fellow Dems & Dem adjacent voters...it's time to abandon any effort to shame Republicans into finding a sense of decency. Or to be part of any solution. They are beyond lost. The only viable strategies left are the ones that focus on rendering Republicans irrelevant.

Why is saying wildly offensive things on a regular basis a thing that reliably gets people unlimited media coverage?

I was just watching an episode of #Scrubs (original run) & there was a scene where they replaced the original music with something less expensive to license. Always such a drag. And a powerful argument for owning physical media.

Are there people who find product commercials more persuasive if Shaq is the spokesperson?

We need to stop being shocked that Republicans will defend absolutely any decision they believe benefits them, no matter how many other people are hurt by it & start being loudly disgusted by it . Call it their policy of "sacrificing everyone else to save themselves".

The thing about Trump is that most politicians have the capability of adjusting to changing political winds. Not in the sense of lying exactly. More like recognizing that your approach isn't producing the desired response & trying something different. Trump only has a few tools in his box. That's it.

When Trump offers these cash payments to voters as bribes to vote for him, it's a tacit admission that he doesn't feel his "accomplishments" in office would motivate people to vote for him. Like paying off a building inspector to "overlook" all of your violations instead of just fixing them.

Did Blanche submit the handwritten FBI notes re. a woman who alleges she was sexually assaulted by Trump when she was 13?

Per Blanche’s latest filing, he complied, but I explain why he didn’t really & why it’s just to delay those handwritten notes from going public.
