I think I know which part you mean. Totally agree, it is brutal. Amazing how certain scenes will stay in my head forever... I read it about 2 years ago. I'd love to hear what you think once you've finished it!

It's definitely heavy. I remember having to pause after certain scenes, stare at a white wall and think of fluffy rabbits before I could read on 😅 But I also couldn't put it down, I had to know...! I haven't picked up the second book yet, I'm scared 🫣

I made my husband read this a couple of weeks ago. When I asked him if he enjoyed it, he said "enjoy" is the wrong word but it's definitely thought-provoking and worth reading. I think I agree... What do you think so far?
