A while ago I had a friend who complained about Samus being this icon of feminism in gaming when she’s not really a strong female character, and I remember thinking that critique was a bit unfair but in retrospect I think she was right lol.

It forces you to engage with the world more, I don’t think I really appreciated Skyrim’s world design and storytelling until I started imposing rules on myself like only using diegetic fast travel and only resting in beds.
