A character in the game called "Shi" dislikes "Kikky". That is because "Shi" doesn't like vermin. (Maybe thinks Kikky is a bacterium)
Also, for in-game setting purposes, "Kikky" could be thought of as just the cats from the Mike minigames (the Mikes must take care of them when not in use) (?)

I bought her the same cheap toy like 8 times and every time she instantly loses it and then starts yelling because she doesn't know where it is. Makes me wonder if she would have been happier if she never knew that Toy existed in the first place...

The actual testing period will last for an indefinite amount of time. After that, the game needs to get approved on consoles and we need to do various other things to prepare for release.

The professional testers are familiarizing themselves with the game now. They begin formally testing on April 1st.
Japanese translation quality assurance is projected to be completed in April.
Outside of addressing bugs and translation, most of the development team has moved on from Chapter 5.
