I didn't know that nearly almost half of the LG Smart TV apps are laced with proxies 😳
I know it's unpopular to say because the scrapers are evil and stupid (and most of them are!) but I can't get over how small the numbers are in all of these posts.
18M/day is 200 qps, and there isn't even a bandwidth cost argument. Those are Raspberry Pi numbers.

For me, good music is key to getting deep into tough stuff like planning or coding. I think sound's got a purpose, not just ambiance.

iOS dictation is really bad. It's opening the recording app instead of allowing you to type and speak in the current window. It's incredible how effectively this is achieved in Android.

AI is fine, but I don't trust its autonomy. The moment we hand over the reins, we lose our grip on quality and system alignment.

Oh, I just realized quantum computers (and the massive size of ML-DSA signatures) will probably kill asymmetrycally-signed JWTs as bearer tokens. This is good.
90% of the time, asymmetric signatures are unnecessary complexity, and a session ID or HMAC would do just as well.
