Voltage recordings within the fanshaped body of Drosophila provide diverse voltage footprints based on test scenarios. DSA should prove insightful determining an objective measure of not just similarities, but also the differences. Just a hot take. I'll need to read this thoroughly.

Amazing. You should make a wallpaper theme for Linux based on images like this.

Maybe the number of papers shouldn't be the measuring bar ?

Just got this for my birthday!!!. In my previous comment on this topic, you may recall that I have the Mega-Bloks version. I'm not saying this makes me the bigger Trek fan. Just sayin'... :p

But we are very special creatures on this planet. I mean, we invented cheeseburgers. I would say that's an amazing achievement 🥸

After a century, we still have a misunderstanding? I guess this will continue until we derive an understanding that is more than just instrumental. What's really going on at the bottom of reality? Or is it turtles all the way down? 🤔

I reposted this because I think fraud , or the thing previously named as fraud , is not understood well enough in academia. In a way , I'm lucky to self fund my PhD. I got to investigate what I'm passionate about. However without lots of grant stamps of approval , will anyone bother looking.

From that thumbnail, I can only guess what was going through Shatner's mind while filming that :)

I hate to say this, but the entire grant system is old and should be overhauled. Hopefully in the next administration, an improved system can be established.

With a plethora of mixed reviews, I'll wait to rent it. Still, James, I have to say I was expecting more from you. You were the chosen one. You're not at DC to destroy it. Please do better? I have faith in you.

I want a battery who's only job is to provide electricity to my HVAC. Yes, I live in Arizona.

You make it sound like we'll all be miserable working under AI overlords. Well I've worked for human overlords all my life. And let me tell you, if that's the choice we face? I'll give my AI a go. When it fires me , I can be certain it's not personal 🥸

Saw an interesting take on how AI will dismantle Indian IT that focused on cheaper dev resources. AI is now making development cheap (compared to humans ). Other locations ? Their mileage will vary.

Is there a link to a recording ?

Why don't the makers of Small Modular Reactors just team up with Data Centers in remote areas away from big cities. No retail customers to complain and the carbon footprint should be reasonable. Problem solved ?

You can accept the future or fight it. Because Amazon did a good job in the past, I trust them with future purchases. I've been using my Kindle 11 for years and expect it to keep going for a while. And I'll stop upgrading when they break my trust. I'm not an optimist; I'm a realist.

Well, this is sad, but it's a reality for any device over 10 years old. Companies cannot maintain backend servers for such a small number of devices. Uhm, you can buy a newer model; it will certainly be supported for a decade.

It looks amazing. I remember when I was a teen, cutting that stuff with razors to put it on my art. You have it easier, I assume ;)
