We’re going to hear about how everyone loved Dolly, and that feels true. But it’s good to remember, and to her credit, that she was attacked for her AIDS activism, her vaccine advocacy, her LGBTQ+ support and even, more recently, for her reading initiatives. She ALWAYS stood firm when it mattered.

Forest Relic 2: Crafting Update - Gator Days Panel 1 Gustopher has found something amazing in the woods. It's a stick! Sticks are cool. He runs to show it to Hannah. Gustopher: HANNAH! Check of this stick! Panel 2 Hannah does agree that the stick is admirable but she is not one to be outdone. She has also found something interesting in the woods. Hannah: Yeah, that's cool. But is it cooler than this rock? She holds up a smooth oval shaped rock. It's one of those ones that would be amazing for skipping but you won't want to do it because it's so good. There's parts that sparkle in the sunlight. Rocks are cool. Gustopher: Let Liam decide! Panel 3 Liam is sitting on a stump and checking out the neat stick and rock that he has been asked to judge. next to him is a little bit of string. Foreshadowing is a literary device. This stick and rock are pretty sweet. Liam: They're both cool. But what if... Panel 4 Liam has read the wiki and knows the ancient art of crafting. He has tied the rock to the top of the stick which has increased the coolness factor and improves the stick's bludgeoning stats while providing +3 INT. Everyone is impressed. Hannah: Whoa! Liam: Magic staff. Gustopher: THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING!

Afterlife - Gator Days Transcript Panel 1 Liam and Gustopher are on a swing set. Gustopher is enjoying the day at the park and Liam is slowly growing more and more anxious about mortality. Standard kid stuff. Liam: What do you think happens after we die? Gustopher: I don't know. Panel 2 Liam goes back on the swing, his mind is going through the possibilities. Liam: Yeah... No one knows. Is there a heaven? Panel 3 Liam swings forward and his uncertainty grows. Liam: Maybe there's nothing? Or something we can't even imagine. Panel 4 Liam's swing goes back as Gustopher's goes forward. Liam: It's scary. Gustopher: It's exciting!

August's Phase - Gator Days May - Alligator - A grandma who loves being a grandma. August's mother. Gustopher - Alligator - An easily excitable boy who loves making friends. August's son. August - Alligator - A soft spoken single father who works in IT. Gustopher's dad. Seth - Otter - The assistant principal at his daughter's school. He has been friends with August since childhood. Transcript Panel 1 August and Gustopher are visiting Grandma when she decides to pull up some family photos. She has found a rather amusing one of August when he was younger. May: Want to see a picture of your dad during his "dark" phase? August: MOM! NO! Gustopher: YES! Panel 2 May hands Gustopher her phone. The screen is cracked but there's a picture of August and Seth when being emo was the most important thing in their world. May: We had to put in a little heart to cover some rudeness. August is making a rude hand gesture that has been covered up by a cartoon heart with a bubbly smile and big twinkling eyes. August's face has an abundance of splotchy eye liner on it and random crosses put on with the same eye liner. He's wearing a band shirt that says "OUR CHEMISTRY FALLOUT" and multiple belts. He's not wearing his glasses so you can see his makeup. Seth has a silly grin and is wearing another band shirt that says "Pancake at the Club". He's wearing a studded collar and a chain. Panel 3 Gustopher looks up at his dad who is looking away sheepishly. Panel 4 Gustopher looks back down at the picture. Gustopher: I don't know how to react to this. August: It wasn't a phase. It really wasn't a phase, he's still into emo music.

Panel 1 Daryl is outside and talking with his father over the phone. Daryl and his husband have been planning a little party with their closest friends and family to celebrate the day that they adopted their daughter. Daryl has decided to make an attempt to invite his parents although he's pretty sure they won't come. Daryl: Hey Dad, we're having a party to celebrate the day Hannah joined our family. I'd love it if you and Mom came. Ed: That'll be difficult. Panel 2 Daryl knows at this point that his parents will not be coming. He hasn't even given them a date. He'll give it one last push but doesn't want to argue about it too much. Daryl: Are you sure? You still haven't met your granddaughter. Ed: It's not like she's really our granddaughter. Panel 3 Upon hearing this, Daryl immediately says the first thing that comes to mind. Daryl: Then I guess I'm not really your son! Ed: That's not- Daryl doesn't offer an opportunity for the sentence to be finished. Daryl: Bye. Panel 4 Daryl takes a moment to reflect on all this. He feels angry and hurt. Only one word comes to mind at the moment. Daryl (thinking): Man...

Panel 2 Daryl stands defiantly and feels determined not to let this bother him too much. He's gotten used to this sort of thing from his parents. Daryl: It's fine. I was fine when they didn't come to our wedding. I'll be fine now. Panel 3 Daryl loses some of the stiffness in his posture and looks to the ground. A tear starts to form in one of his eyes. He doesn't want this to get to him. Seth approaches him and puts a hand on his husband's arm. Daryl: It's fine. Panel 4 Seth hold on to one of Daryl's arms while Daryl wipes away a tear. Daryl: It's not fine. I hate it.

Daryl has been having a rough time with his parents but it has reminded him of how important his daughter is to him and he wants Hannah to know that. Daryl: Hannah, I need to tell you something. Panel 2 Daryl decides to just say what he wants to say without beating around the bush. He's not always direct about his emotions but this feels like a good time for it. His husband, Seth, watches from the doorway. Daryl: I need you know how proud of you I am. Wherever you go in life, I want to support you. Panel 3 A rare smile come across Daryl's face. He loves his daughter more than anything and hopes that she understands how much he appreciates her. Daryl: It's an honor being your Papa. Thank you for being my daughter. Seth is moved by this whole scene. Panel 4 Hannah is distracted because she's in an online match in her game and can't pause. Hannah: Thanks, Papa. Could I get back to my game before I lose this match. Daryl has said what he needed to say and sees this as a great opportunity to practice what he just said. Daryl: I support that. Give them hell.

Transcript Panel 1 Daryl is in his backyard for a little get together with his friends and family. He's watching his husband, Seth, talk to August. Daryl begins to contemplate where he is in life. Daryl (thinking): It hurts when the people who are supposed to love you the most reject the most important people in your life. Panel 2 Daryl turns to see his daughter, Hannah, playing with her friends Liam, Gustopher, and Olivia. Gustopher is holding a ball above his head and Hannah looks like she's trying to get it from him. Olivia also appears to making a motion to grab the ball. Daryl (thinking): I thought I'd lose everything without my parent's approval. I thought I wouldn't have a family anymore. Panel 3 Daryl's brother, Terry, has wandered over to show Daryl the new design he made for his band's merch. He has a tank top on with the word "FORK" on top of a giant fork. Terry is very proud of this. Graphic design is his passion. Daryl (thinking): That's not what happened. I still have my brother. I'm a husband and a father. I'm finally making friends. Panel 4 Everyone is running around and having fun. Daryl puts his arm around his husband as Hannah tries to get his attention to tell him something. Daryl smiles. Daryl (thinking): I never lost my family. I found it.

Daryl: No, I hate the beach. It's mainly because of the sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and gets everywhere. Panel 2 Seth doesn't really have any qualms with this but feels like teasing his husband a little. Seth makes the cutest face he thinks he's capable of making and pursues to the topic further. Seth: You won't go for your beloved husband who loves you? Daryl: I won't go for anyone. Panel 3 Hannah suddenly enters and she also has a brilliant idea. Hannah: DAD! PAPA! Can we go to the beach? Panel 4 Seth, Daryl, and Hannah have arrived at the beach. Daryl has set up a blanket that he hopes will act as a decent barrier between himself and the sand. Hannah is rushing to the sand with a shovel, a bucket, and sand castle ambitions. Seth had a feeling that things would turn out this way but teases Daryl a little more. Seth: I thought you wouldn't go for anyone. Daryl: She's more important than anyone.

Daryl and Seth's daughter. Olivia - Opossum - A child who is shy until she gets to know you. In reality she's rather mischievous and likes pranks. Polly's younger sister. Panel 1 A large demonic looking creature with glowing yellow eyes, green skin, and wings is talking to a group of adventurers. He has a malevolent smile and wears a peculiar golden crown with a purple liquid looking substance floating out of the top. Xark Xide: You have done well to get this far.
