I'm starting with the section on Marxist feminism—the focus is on the 1920s work of Berta Lask and the criticism of Eleanor Marx.

Lask was, arguably, the first Marxist feminist playwright and Marx the first Marxist feminist theatre critic. Both are as extraordinary as they are under-appreciated.
