Their first three albums have a lot of good stuff but are a little spotty to me but We All Belong is probably a good starting point to get a taste of their lo-fi spotty sensibility. Then Fate, which is... the best. And then just move on through. Smooth sailing. Earworms for days.

Oh my god they're the best. You can pretty much move through their discography chronologically and not encounter one bad song. "Fate" through "Critical Equation" in particular is one of the most staggering decade-long runs of albums I've ever heard.

I've usually found that a chewy pop is the result of the kernels! (I assume they're just old/stale?) If you want light and fluffy you can track down some white kernels. Yellow if you want more bulbous and starchy. Despite being a big brand I find Orville kernels to be pretty reliable and fresh!
