Been catching bits of old Coronation Street on ITV3, for Tony and Maria and for Becky. It's crazy how much more enjoyable it is to watch than some of the current stuff I've been catching

I didn't even watch that much Supernatural, and now I hate Kripke for a completely different show

The update to my antivirus woes is that I deleted the free antivirus I was using and downloaded another, did a scan, and it told me it couldn't scan all my files. My guess at this point is that it's because I haven't moved to Windows 11, and all the other services are based around that now. Sucks.

I deleted my antivirus and reinstalled it, and it had a brand new look which makes me think there was an update that hadn't gone through, but I switched the computer off and again, did another scan, and it's still claiming it can't scan all my files. If it was just a few I might overlook it, but

The best did not happen

I have told my antivirus to repair itself and I'm hoping for the best

My antivirus has stopped scanning anything but a fraction of the files on my computer, for no apparent reason, and I don't know what to do about it.

Also it's telling me my license for the free version is running out soon, which might be why - but it won't let me extend it unless I buy the paid one

I'm making an effort to watch some of the free films on my 'spring' list before summer arrives on Monday, and I keep thinking 'they're old/classic films, they'll only be about like an hour and a half at most', and 2 hours+ every time.

Heard a weird noise last night that kept going and going until I realised something was screaming outside, and I looked out my window and after a while saw a fox on the lawn. Then we got a rainstorm that lasted pretty much overnight. A true spring experience <3

Googling "how to get to Whitby without it taking 5 hours, costing a bomb, or needing me to learn how to drive"

The Fish and Ships festival is this weekend

I personally think that Marks and Spencers' range of picnic food has tragically declined in the last few years

My dream soap man was this: there was a father who was either Mike Baldwin or very like Mike Baldwin, and he discovered some long-lost daughter and reconnected with her when she was an adult. Either he didn't know she existed, or her mother left him when the girl was a baby, or something.

I dreamed up a whole new soap character last night and I love him and I had to wake to a world where he's not real :(

My parents had the snooker on TV today while I was downstairs, and I watched Shaun Murphy relentlessly snookering Wu Yize :(

After a couple of days of flyering, a Reform person CAME TO THE DOOR, and asked me outright if I was planning to vote for them on Thursday. Go away!

The woman at the Jobcentre the other day said I'd have an appointment next Thursday, with a lovely man, and there they'd tell me/decide how much I'd be paid, possibly through some form of assessment - and then I'd be paid for the first time at the end of May. All of which sounded nice.

Got to my appointment, after finding out last night I needed to bring 3 forms of ID. I'm low on ID because it's expensive, but luckily who I saw was very helpful and what I had was enough. It was honestly quite painless. On the way home, mum and I walked through the last of the cherry blossoms

Just apply for benefits, they said, it's just an easy form to fill in online if you have a doctor's note, they said, and now I have an appointment for 10am in the morning

When you watch a horror film hoping for some supernatural goodness and it ends up being some fairly realistic violence against women

Sometimes I still think about my ridiculous Corrie AU, where the Tilsley-Platts (and Audrey and Ted) were a crime family, and when Gail got pregnant with David she REALLY didn't want goody two-shoes Martin butting into her life, and ::handwave reason she didn't get an abortion::, so she just

It's still so painful there's almost no David fic

Thinking about how lucky I am to live in the world at a time when David Platt's on the TV

I did go to Leeds and see some rats in Millenium Gardens the other day though

It's annoying that when you have money and then you spend money, you don't have money anymore

I thought it would be expensive to renew my passport, but I didn't think it would be nearly £100
