I hope someone somewhere is prepping to do the PhD on the effects of AI on cultural identity (or similar) because every poster, every event banner, every menu... is starting to look exactly the same, no matter where you are or what their niche is.

Basically, modern life was nailed by The Beatles in their song “Taxman”:

Charlie Phillips: A Grassroots Legacy

Having supported the Kickstarter for his previous book, I was excited to receive this long-overdue celebration of one of the UK's most underrated photographers.

I came across a blog post about street photography, ethics and “poverty porn” (I hate the term). It begins, “There is a very fine line between the creation of street photography art and poverty pornography.”

There is a line, but I would argue that it is broad rather than fine.

Two of my zines, On the road (reprint) and One night (1st edition of 200 copies) are both close to selling out.

Why is it easier to access junk food, misinformation, and distraction than health, truth, and purpose?

This is a beautiful, deeply moving image of Sir Garfield Sobers lying in state. It gives me goosebumps.

Without diminishing his extraordinary achievements, I can't help thinking every life deserves dignity. Every farewell deserves honour.
