Prep for Rosh Hashanah has had me BUSY busy, so now I'm having some intentional relaxation, & maybe a book & tea after. I've had a lovely day of baking & readings though. And more baking tomorrow. Plus a visit to the cemetery to see my grandmama. It's going to be a good day.

I've been hyper-focused, locked-in, deeply immersed in research and translations for a *big* article for Sheydmade (months of writing, years of research and experience), and it's *almost* ready to share! This one is for the Jewitches as well, which always makes it extra special! Keep ya posted!

Back to laying in my clover patch in the garden, taking in the sunshine, birdsongs, and scents of the irises (I've got 86 active blooms at the minute and maaaany more to come!). This time, I've a good book out here to keep me company. Perfection.

I've been seeing a lot of posts and clips online lately listing "meditation essentials" and going over things like incense scents, singing bowls and standing bells, chimes, meditation cushions, etc.

Shucked a couple of extra corn cobs today to leave in the trees for the squirrels, and they were ecstatic.

Yesterday was so perfect. I spent the majority of the day outside in the garden, in the sunshine, enjoying the temps in the 90s and the lovely breeze.

Times are hard, and hard times, unfortunately, often come along with an increased need for protection. Due to this, I felt it was only right to share an exploration of some of the wonderful forms of protective work that folk magic has to offer.

Definitely time for a cup of ginseng, lemon, green tea whilst I get to the to-do list of writing, editing, and graphic design. And then I have some more boring back of house tasks as well pertaining to my little writing project. Trying to look at it all as a blessing & meaningful chance, not stress.
