“What kind of nurse are you?” I visited my patient of two days in a row and her daughter on a day off because something about her case (hip surgery and extensive cancer) really sat very heavy on me and I somehow made it up there to see her just before she was moved to ICU. Thinking abt how these were DAYS before I tore my labrum due to my FAI. I didn’t even know that was a risk. 15 year old me fell through the cracks and so did 26 year old me because no one listens to teenagers or young adults about hip pain. Angry and also grieving

My favorite thing is that my sister, who is 2 thousand miles away and six years older and we don’t get to talk often, and I listen to the same music. We both love the same bands, same taste, we are both loving Noah Khan.

I might be finding a way to move back to my specialty earlier than I thought as an RN??? Trying not to get hopes up but some educators are getting me in contact with the ER fellowship educator and managers.
